With the change of economy and the development of science and technology, the competition among corporations has turned to the competition among supply chains. So, the research of supply chain systems becomes a hot topic. In recent years, many scholars have studied inventory controlling, the bullwhip effect problem and robustness in Supply Chains. The research of supply chains has expanded from single chain to multi-chain and multi-variety, and valuable research results are achieved. Within the past several years, the problem of the supply chain inventory management and bullwhip effect in supply chain systems by control theory has become a new issue, many theory results are achieved and the results do well in practical application. On the basis of the previous theory, two aspects of the work are discussed as follows.Study on the problem of bullwhip effect in across-chain inventory coopera-tion among multi-chain supply chains. Aiming at the situation of two single chains, consider that the emergency inventory replenishment can come from another supply chain retailer, the model and quantifying method of bullwhip effect under the across-chain inventory cooperation in closed-loop supply chains are established, moreover, under the worst demand fluctuation, the emergency inventory replenishment H_∞control method which closed-loop supply chain is composed of two single chains is also put forward. Then the H_∞feedback controller is figured out, this method is proved to be efficient by numerical examples.Study on the problem of inventory strategic of supply chain which is composed of multiple distribution centers. The dynamic structural model of supply chain inventory whole cost is established on the condition that the supply chain has multiple distribution centers, also the robust operating method is analyzed on the same condition, moreover, H_∞control strategy and linear matrix inequality are applied to solve the robust operating problem, finally, the H_∞feedback controller is given. By use of the assistance of the feedback control, the uncertain disturbance of the supply chain dynamic system can be retained, and the operating of the supply chain can reach an ideal cost. Finally, the research results are validated by simulation.
