Along with the establishment of modern enterprise system in the country and the release of executive compensation data, the issue of executive incentive has become a hot topic for the academic and the practice circle. Pay as a labor compensation, is also an important incentives, especially in the case of separation of ownership. Reasonable remuneration component and the system can increase staff motivation and work efficiency and avoid brain drain. The corporate executives as the company's core team have a crucial role on the development of enterprises, how to formulate their pay is the company's key issues.This article explores under the analysis of theoretical basis, selected years 2006-2008, the coastal city's 163 listed companies as samples of data, using SPSS 16.0 and Excel software to analysis, and compared with the national level, draw the following conclusions:coastal cities on the CEO pay level higher than the national level in general, the proportion of executives holding more than the national's level, but still very low, zero ownership is serious, and exist big pay gap. Regression analysis:executive pay and corporate performance, firm size is positively correlated, negatively correlated with state-owned shares, corporate performance and executive pay gap is positively correlated. This article further analysis of different samples, both part-time has not brought very good incentive effects; at the some time service consumption increased, executive pay is not reduced.The last part of the article in connection with conclusions to further improve the incentive mechanism executives made a number of policy recommendations. For example, further detailed disclosure of remuneration, to strengthen the construction of perfect laws, increase equity incentive and so on.
