Specialized Cooperative Economic Organizations Of Farmers In Jiangxi Province Analysis And Research Development Thinking

Farmers' cooperative economic organizations are an inevitable outcome of the market economic development. On the one hand, the market economy promotes rapid development of productive forces; on the other hand, the market competition has intensified the social polarization. This will inevitably result in organizations of farmers in vulnerable industries and positions to improve their situation and market position and to safeguard their interests. Farmers' cooperative economic organizations in developed foreign countries and regions and China's coastal areas have proved that the more developed the market economy, the more extensive the cooperative economic development. China has a large population and is a large agricultural country. Such issues as "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers" affect China's overall economic development, stability and harmony, and long-term peace. The Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China states clearly that it is necessary to explore for effective practical forms of collective economy, to develop farmers'specialized cooperative organizations, to support agricultural industrialization and leading enterprises, to carry forward the reform of collective enterprises, and to develop various forms of collective economy and economic cooperation.Jiangxi farmers' cooperative economic organizations began in the 1980s, and drew people's concern until the late 90s, especially after the enactment of 2007 Law of the People's Republic of China on Specialized Farmers Cooperatives in 2007. In recent years, the overall development of Jiangxi farmers' cooperative economic organizations has made initial achievements characterized by accelerated pace of development cooperation, diversification of organizations, wider scope of cooperation more items in cooperation, relatively fair distribution of interests and so on. Nevertheless, there are still urgent problems in the development of Jiangxi farmers'cooperative economic organizations. Through an analysis of the current situation of Jiangxi farmers' cooperative economic organizations, this thesis identifies problems and insufficiencies, and, based on practice of farmers' specialized cooperative economic organizations in developed countries and regions, proposes measures and suggestions on how to promote the development of the Jiangxi farmers'cooperative economic organizations.
