Whether an enterprise can reduce material purchasing cost versus lower risk as possible is highly affected by the sourcing strategy the enterprise adopted. Different sourcing strategy has significant impact on the total owning cost of materials. We discussed the purchasing strategy of Arvato digital services, through the study and analysis of global sourcing strategy development process, this thesis discusses how to effectively improve the current global sourcing strategy of ADS, and some measurements related are suggested.After brief introduce of the basic method, theory and background of the study, firstly the strategy frame of ADS group was discussed, including the relastionship between the purchasing strategy and company strategy; secondly analysizd the current situation of ADS global purchasing strategy, how to realize, and the problems met or going to be met in global purchasing strategy, analysis of those suffered problems; thirdly, provide some improvement suggestions, and the implement of those suggestions, for example, CSO how to work more efficiently, meanwhile CSO should expand business scope and changes it's responsibility in partly according to the necessary of company's development, furthermore this thesis discusses the security of supply chain in safety inventory and logistic, finally the implementing of the suggested points for improvement of global sourcing strategy are discussed here as well.Finally the improvement of ADS global sourcing strategy was summaried, and I discussed some potential problems that we are suffering or are going to meet in near future, and provide some clues and ideals about continuous improvement. Hope it's usful for those companies who is going to or are doing global purchasing to collocate global resources enhancing their competence.
