There is a much close relationship between the rise and decline of agriculture and agricultural ecological environment. The ultimate goal of the study on sustainable development of agricultural ecology is to raise the capacity of agricultural sustainable development, and also to focus on the quality of the products while ensuring a continued increase in food production, and to give maximum protection to resources and environment.Regarding the agro-ecological systerm of Suzhou City, Anhui Province as the research object,based on the dynamic analysis of the theory of sustainable development,this paper quantitatively analysed input-output conditions and the sustainable development conditions of agricultural ecology of Suzhou City and country by using the method of ecological emergy analysis, and on the basis of this, the countermeasures to improve the capacity of sustainable development of agricultural ecology of Suzhou City are put forward, the results showed that:(1)Compared with its neighboring provinces and cities, the sustainable development ability of agricultural ecology of SuZhou City was in a middle level. From the view of the level of agricultural ecological sustainable development of every county in SuZhou City,the sustainability of Si County was the highest, second, Dangshan and Yongqiao district,Xiao county was the lowest.(2)Based on the results of emergy analysis,the countermeasures to improve the sustainable development ability of agricultural ecology of SuZhou City were put forward correspondingly, which included reducing non-renewable resources inputs, increasing non-renewable resources use efficiency, developing ecological agriculture, improveing the efficiency of agricultural production and so on.
