Study Of Shandong Registered Quality Engineers On Knowledge And Value Performance

Quality Management has phase to the stage of total quality management through statistical quality control, quality management methods such as total quality management, six sigma, and zero-defect quality and so on make the quality and capacity of the practitioners become increasingly demanding. So far,30 more countries or regions (including China's Hong Kong and Taiwan) have established a quality engineer qualification examination, registration and job access system. For example, the United States introduced the registration and test system of quality engineers in 1966, and the Japanese early in 1951 began a quality engineer examination system. China's Ministry of Personnel and the State Administration of Quality Supervision established the National Quality Certified Quality Engineer and Assistant Engineer of the examination system in 2001. Ended in 2009, a total of more than 529,000 people register for the test, more than 320,000 people actually take the exam, and over 84,000 people have acquired a qualification certificate. As the manufacturing industry in Shandong Province in Northern Province of economic development, Shandong also achieved significant results. In nine years, a total of 50,540 people applied for,34 166 people participated in the examination,8,334 people got a qualification certificate, and made gratifying achievements, which played a talent-based security to raise the level of quality management, quality assurance for Chinese enterprises.The thesis is divided into four parts:The first part, the paper analyzed the current international and domestic quality and the enterprise quality management development situation. On this basis, on the one hand, the paper sums up the status of Quality Engineer Examination in the province and country, on the other hand it summarizes in the current development situation on the quality and quality engineer, the status how business, society, managers and quality engineers think about the value of quality management professional and technical personnel including Quality Engineer for the enterprise and the community and other conditions. Furthermore, the paper summarizes the status of research on the thesis and evaluation of the current contents and its trends. In addition, this study illustrates the purpose and meaning. The second part, the paper investigated the process of questionnaire design and survey analysis. On the one hand, in order to know more of the current knowledge level and the knowledge structure of quality engineers in Shandong Province and its value that reflects the relationship, improve the current quality of the effective role of engineers, and play a more meaningful role, this paper select from the perspectives of quality engineers and managers to conduct investigations. Because of the characteristics for the two angles, corresponding questionnaires were designed, conducted, analyzed and explained by two questionnaires. On the other hand, according to the questionnaires designed in Chapter II, a number of quality engineers and unit managers were selected to be investigated, from which we get a more detailed on sampling, investigation, etc.The third part, paper is to investigate and analyze the content of the statistics. Results for the third chapter, through the quantitative treatment of the problem, the statistics and analysis can be from the three aspects:First, the personal opinions of quality engineers are dealt with, which makes it clear to understand the knowledge level and structure of quality engineers in Shandong Province as well as their identification and advice about the implementation of self-worth after obtaining personal career technical qualifications. Second, the views of the unit managers of quality engineers are summarized, from which we can know about how the unit managers think about quality engineers'value and related content. Third, do a comparative analysis between the point of quality engineers and the view of unit managers, and understand of various factors on the current value of quality engineers in Shandong Province.The fourth part, on the one hand, statistics and analysis in the process of the paper are summarized, besides, specific proposals are put forward according to the problems appeared in statistical analysis and the survey results. On the other hand, the overall content of the paper is summarized, further research on the content of papers and research directions are also proposed.The innovation of this paper is that it is the first time that an empirical investigation were made to study the knowledge level and structure of quality engineers in Shandong Province as well as their implementation of self-worth in improving quality management and assuring product quality of the enterprise. Moreover, it is also the first time that relationship model was constructed, between the knowledge level and structure of quality engineers,and their implementation of self-worth in improving quality management and assuring product quality of the enterprise. What's more, specific proposals are put forward about some problems in the value of quality management professional and technical personnel including some quality engineers.
