Different from other countries, China's population structure has led to the employment structure. University students, as one of the main employment target groups, have a number of common characteristics. Along with the trend of supply and demand of human resources, it has become essential for the university graduates to choose the right ways to get proper jobs more efficiently. By realising the advantages and disadvantages of formal and informal ways of getting jobs, and then through the combination of both according to the characteristic of individual graduates, they can achieve low-cost and sustainable career development goals.Discussion of the previous foreign employment groups are basically starting from the whole employment population, not refined to the students of the special groups. As for the domestic researches, they either discuss from the recruiting perspectives or educational perspectives.The paper has made a combination of both theory and practice of the conclusions, consistent with the hypothesis, through interviews, questionnaires and data analysis methods the corresponding results. It reviews the recruitment channels and several hypotheses related to the existing research results; then defines some of the core concepts on to the relevant research involved. On this basis, to the specific group of the graduates, it makes an empirical studies on the relationship between different job seeking methods and the job effectivenesses(ie, acceptance rate, job seeking costs, loss rates and adaptiveness). The main conclusions are:(1) the seven job seeking methods discussed in the paper receive significant differences in acceptance rate(2) the job seeking methods have different costs(3) the job seeking methods receive differences in loss rates and adaptiveness...
