The disability-adjusted life years (DALY) method indicated that the loss of productivity of per person in all his life is 608,500 yuan. From these, it can be seen that pneumoconiosis does not only bring the negative social impact but also cause the significant economic loss. Finally, according to our nation's situation, the policies and measures about prevention and control for pneumoconiosis have been put forward.
