A Study On Social Support For Migrant Workers With Pneumoconiosis

Pneumoconiosis has become the most serious occupational disease in China,with the highest incidence rate among all occupational diseases.At the same time,pneumoconiosis is the most common occupational disease in my country,and due to its irreversibility,it is an occupational disease without medical treatment.Migrant workers with pneumoconiosis suffer from physical illness,can not bear the mental pressure,have no financial resources,no social support,difficult to defend their rights,and life is difficult,which brings a heavy burden to pneumoconiosis peasant workers and their families.Therefore,it is urgent to rescue patients with pneumoconiosis in a dual disadvantaged position.The article uses field research methods,interviews and questionnaires to collect data.Take the P area of Gansu Province as an example,based on the analysis of the status quo of social support for pneumoconiosis migrant workers in this area.The author followed the research team to conduct field investigations,pre-publicity,home visits,filling out files,one-on-one interviews,collecting and analyzing data to understand the current situation and needs of pneumoconiosis migrant workers.Then introduce the basic situation of pneumoconiosis groups and individuals in Gansu P area,as well as the problems and reasons faced in social support,focusing on the analysis of the status quo of the treatment and assistance of pneumoconiosis migrant workers in P area.Finally,based on the reflection on participation in practice,it is proposed to enrich its social support from different levels of family,society and government,and continue to improve with the expectation model.Through research,it can be found that migrant workers with pneumoconiosis have economic,life,and cultural problems,and there is an urgent need for the government to establish a complete system,provide various guarantees and support,and professional intervention to improve the lives of pneumoconiosis migrant workers.
