A Study On Informatization Construction Strategy Of Coal Enterprises

As one of the basic and important energy industries of the nation, coal industry stands for an important strategic position in the development of national economy. Under current background of industry consolidation and restructuring, improving the information technology becomes the critical method for coal industry to enhance the ability of governing, improve the key business capabilities and core competitiveness.The research on coal industry's information is still at the initiation stage and writings about the information that in according with the characteristic of the coal field are not enough. Consequently, the study of strategies for coal companies'information development, exploring the method to consolidate information strategy, operation strategy and business management mode and promoting the healthy and rapid development of coal enterprises by information technology are important research topics for coal industry nowadays.The management theory and enterprise information related knowledge and the research method of combination of the norm analysis and empirical analysis are used in this thesis. To explore the information building strategy fit for coal field, it makes a deep analysis of the coal industry enterprise information status and development trend and combines with domestic and foreign experience and lessons learned in the related field of information technology and lessons. And all efforts mentioned above are supposed to provide the reference and basis for coal enterprises and delivery companies to deliver information strategy.Firstly, the background and significance of this research are proposed, the status of the domestic and international research is analyzed and the main structure and content of the thesis are determined. Secondly, it analyses the information technology status of coal enterprises to find the problem and analysis the causes. Thirdly, it draws the key factor to success, experiences and lessons learned by comparing the information situation of domestic and overseas typical industries and then as the reference for coal enterprises to make the information strategy. And finally, it proposes the information strategy of coal enterprises from three aspects such as the information plan, implementation and control of implementation and maintenance. The author also selects a coal enterprise as the case study to verify the conclusions of this research. The conclusion section summarizes the results obtained of this research including its limitations and also forecasts the development of information technology in coal industry.
