An Empirical Study On Foreign Trade And Economic Growth In HeBei Province

With the steadily progress of world trade liberalization and division of international labor, foreign trade plays an important role in the development for a country or region's economic . Due to the economic development of foreign trade has become increasingly important, the influence of foreign trade and economic growth of the relationship becames central issue of economists theory research and practice research, although academia has not yet agreed on this issue, while most scholars still think foreign trade promotes the regional economic development. Compared to the theoretical analysis aspects of the dispute, research in the empirical has made more fruitful achievements, empirical experience results also morerich.Based on this background, this paper selects HeBei province as the research object. To clear of foreign trade and economic growth in HeBei province and the relationship between the characteristics of HeBei 's regional economic drafted in accordance with the foreign trade development strategy,the paper first reviews the domestic and foreign relevant research results, mainly summarizes the theory of literature from empirical import, export and net exports. Then, through a large amount of data and examples in HeBei province , analyzed the development of foreign trade and economic situation on this basis, and selected five variables, used cointegration method of HeBei relationship between foreign trade and economic growth. It is concluded two conclusions according to the empirical studies. The foreign trade and economic growth of hebei province plays an obvious stimulative effect. The role of export benefit to economic growth than imports, import trade growth for economic growth stimulus is weak. That is to say, there is bidirectional promotion relationship between the export growth and economic growth in hebei province, while single relationships exist between import trade and economic growth,also between import and export. According to above empirical conclusions, this paper mainly raised six suggestions, such as coordinating industry structure layout and geographical advantage, promoting foreign trade scale and benefit,accelerating transformation of foreign trade growth mode of foreign trade, establishing benign mechanism of economic growth,implementing the strategy of brands and rejuvenating trade through science and technology strategy, improving the comprehensive competitiveness of export products, optimal import and export commodity structure on economic growth, strengthening the import promotes, promoting the upgrading of the processing trade, foster excellent foreign trade talent team.Judging from the research contents of the article, it must be balance and coordinate the relationship between import and export trade. To give consideration to the coordination effect between import and export the, coordinate and optimize the internal structure of foreign trade, transforme the mode of economic development.
