| Geopark is a tape of nation parks,which is put forward by the worker who study the geological heritage protection. UNESCO definits Geopark as that a Geopark is an area with a geological heritage of significance, with a coherent and strong management structure and where a sustainable economic development strategy in place. A Geopark creates enhanced employment opportunities for the people who live there bringing sustainable and real economic benefit, usually through the development of sustainable tourism. In the framework of a Geopark, geological heritage and geological knowledge is shared with the broad public and linked with broader aspects of the natural and cultural environment, which are often closely related or determined to geology and landscape. There are three purposes of Geopark establishment as follows(一)protect geological heritage and environment;(二)promote popular science education on earth science and propel science research;(三)rational development and utilization of geological heritage resources, develop geo-tourism and support local manufacturing industry and boost local economic development.Establishment Geopark not only can protect earth heritage but also can develop tourism and promote local economic. At the same time, geological museum is a good way for popularization of earth science. It is useful for accomplishment local environment,economic and cultural development of coordination.Recently geopark develop very rapidly because of its significant comprehensive benefit. Since 2000, Ministry of Land and Resources have ratified 183 National Geopark with 6 times, of which 24 have become World Geopark. Though the geopark developed quickly, due to Geopark is also a new type of park, many kinds of geopark have not known popular. In the meanwhile the tourism have not been opened; the environmental,economic and culture benefits have not reflect -ed. So it is urgent to find a new way to promote geopark,.develop geo-tourism and achieve the organic combination of economic, social and environment benefits. In recent years, several geo-park try to conduct tourism festival and special event to promote its development and realize its purpose. As for Geo-park, festival and special event is a effective way for moulding brand culture, enhancing the reputation and promoting its development. Integration of geo-park and the festival and special festival on the one hand can disseminate geological science, on the other hand it will help to display its full advantage and cultivate unique geo-park festival culture.At last to forming famous band for geo-park tourism festival. While since construction of Geoparks in china started relatively late, the research on the Geopark tourism festival has lagged behind, and the festival is short of theory guidace. On the basis this background, the author study geo-park tourism festival. The dissertation is divided into 6 chapters.Chapter 1:introduction the origins of this paper, the purpose of the study, the significance of major and research method, and then review the dynamic research of Geopark at home and abroad,at last point out the technical route.Chapter 2:the definition of Geo-park and festival and special event in this article is recognized and confirmed.Chapter 3:analysis of the status situation and pointed out the existing problem in geopark of tourism festival event planning.Chapter 4:study on the Geo-park festival planning. Propose corresponding recommendations and strategies to improve tourism festival event planning in geopark.Chapter 5:the case study of Zhengzhou Huanghe Geo-park tourism festival.Chapter 6:the conclusion of the thesis, which briefly discusses the limiting factor and the future research. |
