At present, many cities develop eyeball economy by holding largescale events on the bases of the advantages of location, culture and theeconomy. The hosting of Beijing Olympic Games, Shanghai World Expo,Xi’an World Horticultural Expo and other mega events, it not only canpromote the business development and festival economy, but also canmold and exalt the brand popularity of the local authority. Theconcentration of large festival activities and the vast scale of the activitiesalong with the media attention; festivals can attract different kinds ofvisiting groups from all over the world immediately. While, the followingproblems may arise, for example, traffic jams, over crowding at scenicspots, the muddle over hotel accommodation and the slowing of socialcontrol of travel. Because the need of the travelers’ perceptions of thetravel experience is growing, to create and absorb various and moreexperiences in the limited space will become the problem that the largefestival activities will face. Under the proposal of the “the proposal onaccelerating the development of the tourist trade,” tourist constructionnow aims to link tis management system with the new informationtechnology so as to upgrade the construction of tourist industry. Therefore,in modern times, the connection arises between conventional tourism andthe festival activities. It not only can satisfy the unique experiences andthe new management platform, it also can become a valuable service fromdifferent groups. It also can integrate the tourism competitive resources topromote economic development and provide theoretical guidingsignificance in future large festival activities. Until now, Xi’an WorldHorticultural Expo is the largest one both in visitors and scales. It is themega event which exerts great influence not only in Shanxi province butalso in the north-west area of China. The expo left lots of experiences andquestions to be discussed from start its influence publicity until the end its“muddling through”. During the Expo, the first class development of thespot matched the third class of the management which can cause thefollowing problems. They are the unbalanced distribution of the visitors, the extreme expensive price of board and lodging, the lack of the publicservice. All of these influenced the experience effect of the travelers. Bythe wise traveling reform, we can protect and regular the occurrence of thesame problems to form the virtuous circle of the services from the activity,to promote the change and improvement of marketing approach andmanage approach, to create the new manage methods of the large festivalactivity. It has the significant meaning for popular development thefollowing festival activities.
