Recent years the South Korea has signed a series of free trade agreements with EU countries and the United States, which are the new cases of the economical globalization. Even though the South Korean farmers have benefits from the tide of globalization, their vulnerable domestic and international status and the South Korean's limited international agriculture competitiveness made the South Korean farmers suffer an unprecedented shock. Therefore the farmers take a variety of countermeasures to deal with the impact of economic globalization.In the context of globalization this thesis analyzes the South Korea farmers' status in agricultural globalization and their countermeasures under the impact of agricultural globalization.This thesis firstly describes the current situation of South Korean farmers and its agriculture condition under the background of globalization, analyzes internal reasons of South Korean's uncompetitive agriculture, from which we can see the South Korean farmers'position in the process of globalization. South Korean farmers have taken measures against their vulnerable domestic and international status.
