| At present,under the impetus of the wave of economic globalization and regional integration,it has appeared dozens of large and small urban agglomerations in China. Between the urban agglomerations,there is the competition and also the cooperation;within the urban agglomerations,there is the cooperation and also the competition. How to achieve the sustained economic development and build a set of mutually linked interdependent and orderly development of the regional economy between the urban agglomerations in order to achieve the mutual benefits development strategy in the balanced development process,are the common problems with which the regional economists and urban sociologists confront. In addition,How to build the central and the sub-central city of the urban agglomeration as better as possible in order to play its leading role in promoting,it is not only the hot issue that the regional economists and scientists explore and concern about,but also the focus that the city functional departments pay close attention to. From the evaluation index system of city centricity as the starting point,this thesis explores the path and countermeasures of building a regional sub-central city for Shi Jiazhuang city.Firstly,this thesis has much reference to the document literature at home and abroad of the urban agglomerations. On this basis,it summarizes the concept of urban agglomeration,the present research situation and the theoretical foundation and analyzes the relationship between the central city and sub-central city and its function in the urban agglomeration. It also reviews the development of the Jing-Jin-ji urban agglomeration in recent years and pointes out its problems in the development process. In addition,it collects the relevant information about Shi Jiazhuang's location,transportation,social development,economic infrastructure and so on to analyze its realistic conditions of building the sub-central city in Jing-Jin-ji area.Secondly,the thesis modifies the centricity intensity model index from the analysis of the basic connotation of the centricity and the actual status of Jing-Jin-ji. The new model calculates with comparison of centricity intensity for 13 level cities in total of Beijing and Tianjin and Hebei Province from the five elements: economic strength,city size,social development,external connectivity and inter-city distance.Through the analysis of calculation results and comparison with the domestic similar cities,it points out that the problems and shortcomings of construction the sub-central cities in Jing-Jin-ji area: lack of economic strength,small city size,weak radiation and various social cause remains to be further improved.Finally,the thesis has the following conclusion: Construction the sub-central city of the urban agglomerations in Jing-Jin-ji area in Shi Jiazhuang has more favorable infrastructures than other cities in Hebei province,but there are also some problems and shortcomings. According to these problems,it proposes the countermeasures for the constructing the Jing-Jin-ji urban agglomeration in Shi Jiazhuang,that is,to adjust the industrial structure and layout,enhance the economic strength,build bigger and stronger central cities and central towns to raise the level of urbanization,increase the city's carrying capacity to improve urban cohesion , develop accessible three-dimensional rapid transit systems throughout the city and the country to strengthen the economic connections with other cities. |
