Research On Competitiveness Of China's Listed Commercial Banks

With the full opening of the banking industry,China's banking industry has entered a competitive period.As the main force of China's commercial banks,listed commercial banks have taken solid paces in the strategy transformation,management,financial innovation and sustained development,play important roles in the development of China's banking industry.In this case,as representatives of China's commercial banks,listed commercial banks how to deal with all kinds of competition,enhance the competitiveness of listed commercial banks further and maintain the leading in the banking industry. It is an important and urgent practical problem.I'll analyze the relevant competition theory,undestand the concept of listed commercial bank's competitiveness, thus build a indicator evaluation system for empirical analysis and put forward some reasonal suggestionsThe paper is divided into five chapters on the structural arrangements:The first chapter is an introduction section.In this section,I'll introduce the theoretical and practical significances of listed commercial banks,summarize research results of domestic and international studys in the banking competitiveness and introduce research contents and methods.The second chapter is the theory of listed commercial banks' competitiveness. In this chapter,I'll define the concept of the listed commercial bank by introducing competition, competitiveness, business competitiveness, banking competitiveness and do some theoretical preparations for the next empirical analysis.The third chapter is the analysis of China's listed commercial bank reform development. First, I'll introduce the development process of China's commercial bank systematically,then I'll summarize the overall development situation of the commercial bank and the current development of the listed commercial bank.The forth chapter is the empirical analysis of listed commercial banks' competitiveness,it is the main body of the paper. In this chapter I'll select 19 indicators to build a indicator evaluation system. On the selection of the study object,I'll select 13 listed commercial banks as research sample, and combine with relevant datas in annual financial statements of 13 listed commercial banks for empirical analysis. On the research method, I'll use subjective and objective methods of AHP and Entropy Method to rank listed commercial banks' competitiveness to avoid one-sidedness of one method, and main unity of two methods. The results showed:Industrial Bank, China Construction Bank, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank rank top three. Finally, I'll analyze causes of the result intensity of listed commercial banks' competitiveness.The fifth chapter is strategies on how to enhance the competitiveness of listed commercial banks.According to the results of empirical analysis,I'll put forward some feasible suggestions in achieving intensive development,creating unique bank and building innovative bank for listed commercial banks.
