After a new round of restructuring in China Telecom Industry in 2008, six carriers merged as three full-service providers, they are China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. The newly formed competition landscape has brought great challenges to China Mobile, which then incurred a key issue on how to choose their future operation strategy so that China Mobile can sustain its advantages against the other two competitors.Formed in the context of the prevailing full-service operation within China telecom industry, the thesis begins with delineation on China Mobile's macro-level, industry-level and operational level environments along with its technological competency, then by combining the international experiences on full-service operation and reviews of literature on the field coupled with the author's-year experience in telecom industry, the thesis draw a whole pictures on the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats of China Mobile.Finally, the thesis proposed advices on China Mobile's operation strategy that by providing ongoing premier user experiences and focusing mainly on mobile services, the company can raise barriers against worldwild competitors.
