It is obvious that only enterprise has the ability to quick respond to market requires and continuously improve products'quality can it survive in the competition of speed and quality and get development opportunity. The Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma have provided a solution to these two problems. In order to provide customers with high quality products and good service in the context of reducing cost and increasing speed, more and more enterprises pay high attention on the integration of "Lean speed" and "Six Sigma quality", that is Lean Six Sigma.Reducing waste and improving process efficiency is the aim of Lean. At the same time, The Six Sigma focus on reducing fluctuations of process, conducting continuous improvement of organization business process and achieving customer satisfaction. Lean Six Sigma is just a perfect result of these two method's integration. Lean Six Sigma has become the common language and operation platform in business and industry. It is the main method in optimizing the operation of enterprise and speeding up integrating into the world industrial chain. Our enterprise is facing with the problem of capacity less than demand, multi-variety and small batch, short lead times. And poor production organization with low rate of production orders completion has been the thorny problem to our enterprise. Low rate of production orders completion directly resulting of overtime working for staff and the continual loss of sales resources and low morale. Therefore, it is imperative to improve the rate of production orders completion. In order to solve the problem motioned above; this paper proposes Lean Six Sigma to improve the rate of production orders completion. Firstly, discuss the theory of Lean Six Sigma and the rate of production orders completion and propose four basic means to achieve Lean Manufacturing. Secondly, describes the advantages and disadvantages of Six Sigma management and present the necessity and feasibility of the integration of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. And Lean Six Sigma has good effect on the business's operation, including reducing variability of business processes, improving process capability and stability, improving the robustness of the process or product, reducing the number of Work in Process, reducing inventory, reducing costs, shortening production cycle, reducing production lead time, responding customers' requires quickly and accurately, improving the facility layout, reducing the production space, using resources effectively, improving customer satisfaction, increasing market share. Finally, introduced the case of the application of Lean Six Sigma improve the rate of production order completion in Xuye company. And the method of DMAIC is also applied to achieve this project's objective. This paper has summarized the problems in the implementation of Lean Six Sigma. And the method and means of Lean Six Sigma for Chinese enterprises was proposed. These have made prospective study for the rate of production orders completion and provide a meaningful reference for other similar enterprises.
