As China’s economy entered the new normal, downward pressures continue to increase, caused an unprecedented shock to the electronics manufacturing industry, many companies began to study hard and apply advanced management model so as to enhance their overall strength and competitiveness of enterprises. Lean Six Sigma(LSS), known as the inevitable choice and the best weapon for reducing the total cost of enterprises, shortening order delivery time,improving production and service process and synchronous hoisting product quality and output efficiency in today’s world. It has been widely recognized and applied promotion successively in the field of industry and services in most countries of the world, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits. But in China, the real successful cases of the enterprise has a long-term remarkable success is rare. In view of this, based on the detailed analysis of LSS related theory and the successful implementation experience of other companies, this paper takes the electronic manufacturing enterprise——SM company as the research object, combined with the main problems facing the enterprises and the LSS implementation basis, the paper further puts forward the concrete implementation process of LSS, then successfully implemented, in order to provide practical reference and experience for other related enterprises in China.In the implementation process of the LSS project of SM company, firstly by using Matrix graph, Pareto priority index(PPI) and other methods and tools, determine the priority project of LSS. Then taking the improvement project of defective rate for the PCBA product for example, the use of DMAIC process and related tools and methods based on Lean Six Sigma to improve, and get a good effect. At the same time, in improving(I) stage, using the Response Surface Methodology(RSM),the process parameters of wave soldering process which cause PCBA products bad, has been optimized. After the implementation, the rate of poor welding dropped from 39173 PPM to 3491 PPM, the number of rework and inspection reduced by 10 people from 18 people, the average rate of plan to complete increased from 90% to 96%, the investment rate of return(ROI) is 1245.7%.
