Project Cost Management System Requirements Analysis Of Construction General Contractor Enterprise

With the advance of the process of joining WTO, China's construction market is getting into line with international standards gradually, building contracting market become more perfect, project contract will become more standardized and marketization, competition is more intense, too. Undoubtedly, good construction quality and social reputation (brand) is a superiority in undertaking projects for construction enterprises, while as a highly homogeneous building product, the price factor has increasingly become the most important factor in selecting contractors for the owners. So, how to reduce project operating costs, strengthen the construction project cost management is one important issue of enhancing competitiveness of enterprises. Therefore, making full use of existing resources, through advanced information technology tools to enhance their adaptability and competitiveness, cost management system of strengthening the construction general contractor enterprise' project cost management came into being.This paper aims to design a WEB-based project cost management information system for the construction general contractor enterprise. The project (project group) is the management object of this system, each department of the construction general contractor enterprise and the department of the project manager work together for the construction cost so that they can provide the most reasonable strategy for achieving the most reasonable cost target. Besides the basic function of other general system of the construction cost, such as date collection, input, processing, interaction, form transmission, form output, printing, more importantly, it embodies construction general contractor enterprise do systematic control for project(project group)'whole cost and achieve the overall optimization. The system includes the cost of planning systems, cost control system, cost accounting systems of three modules. This system can achieve the cost control and management for the sub-project implementation part of the project, the unit works, individual works, the project cost control and management through the use of project work breakdown structure and objectives of the decomposition,.In summary, the paper establish a cost management information system to collect, storage, processing and analysis all the cost information cover the whole process of a construction project for the construction general contractor enterprise, to provide foundation for cost management, share information between the project participating units and enterprise, and also help the cost management department to make descion.
