Land Traffic Research Of Jialing River Basin In Sichuan Area In Qing Dynasty

The Jialing River is the important river and it is also the largest river basin in Sichuan province. Now under the background of the second round development of western China, the central government requires expediting the infrastructure construction. Thus the large-scale land traffic lines construction are launched all over the western China. This thesis has the certain reference opinions for the location and direction of the new lines. Therefore, carrying out the land traffic research of Jialing river basin in Sichuan province in Qing dynasty has certain practical value. This paper, as one part of the subject of "comprehensive research of historical geography of Jialing river basin ", is primarily responsible for combing the basic of Jialing river basin. It tries to recover the brief introduction of the land traffic routes and provide detailed and accurate geographical data for "comprehensive research of historical geography of Jialing river basin". The first part of the thesis introduces the reason of choosing this topic, which fully explains the academic value and practical significance of the research. The author thinks that the land traffic of Jialing river basin presents like this:on trend part, build the road along the river; on frame part, more north-south roads, less east-west roads; on traffic hub part, multi-level and network traffic hub pattern has emerged, etc. At the same time, it also analyses the natural and social economic factors of land traffic routes of Jialing river basin in Sichuan region in Qing dynasty as well as its influence on the modern traffic network.
