Studies On Farmers' Desire And Behavior Of Buying Agricultural Insurance In Hunan Province

Agricultural insurance is an institutional arrangement which the agricultural producer pay for part of small insurance premiums to cover the loss of property if the agricultural production process was disturbed. Offer agricultural insurance for risk management to protect farmers incomes and promote rural economic development has a certain role in health. After joining the WTO context, how to use the means of agricultural insurance to support and protect the healthy development of China's agricultural more and more serious. In this paper, the will of farmers involved in agricultural insurance as an object of study, focusing on how to establish agricultural insurance coordination mechanism to develop agricultural insurance business.The paper includes the following four parts:Part one is the literature review. Which describes the basic theory of agricultural insurance, offered by the academicals researcher study in recent years. The second part of the Hunan Agricultural risk and course of the development of agricultural insurance and a brief summary of the current situation, especially in Hunan Province in 2007 as a pilot agricultural insurance in the last three years of its development were summarized.
