County Administrative Restructuring: Spatial Patterns,Formation Mechanism&Influence Study

It is only more than 30 years since reform and opening up, the numbr of the county has been reduced from 2011 to 1464. The changing is so drastic even more than thousands of years, since the county appears to 1900s. Under the changing, it is doubt that the county is the most stable regime. Behind the series of changes what happened is county administrative restructuring. In this thesis, based on the case study of county administrative, we put our study on the spatial patterns, formation mechanism and the influence, in order to provide reference to further study.The full thesis is divided into five chapters, the following is the main content:The first chapter is the introduction, describing the economic and social background of the restruction of conunty administrative district; reorganizing the existing the relevant research; defining the study period and area; clarifying the framework of this thesis, so as to determine the basic methods of research.The second chapter overview the county administrative district restricting in our country, coming to the temporal variation characteristics,for the further rearch of formation mechanism. From the spatial form, the county administrative can be divided into three types:the integral restricting; the Post-mortem restricting; the combined restricting.The third chapter is about the formation mechanism under the perspective of multiple relations. In this chapter we pay attention to the change of relations between government, urban and rural areas, spatial, so as to know the impact of these changes, discussing the formation mechanism of county administrative restructuring.Throughing the case study of both sides, the fourth chapter obtain the influence of county administrative to urban spatial, urban economy, urban management and the social culture, discuss the questions should pay attention to and look forward to this study is helpful.The fifth chapter is the discussion and description, which refinement the main point of this thesis, give some policy recommendations, point out the problems and talk about the continue research direction.
