The Virtual Management Mode Of Life Science Research In Northwestern China Based On Network Platforms

Nowadays, scientific research has become more complicated, which poses new challenges to scientific research methods and approaches, as well as scientific research administration. The informationization of scientific research, once realized, will provide an information-based research environment for scientists and change their scientific research methods and approaches, and as a result have an effect on the development of relative subjects. Scientific research administration which is based on network platform and information technology is initiating a revolution in scientific research of the 21st century.This thesis analyzes the present situation of life science research in northwestern China as well as the characteristics and trends of modern life science research, so as to show that it is necessary and workable to introduce a comprehensive network- platform-based virtual administrative mode into the field of life science research in northwestern China. This thesis reviews the present situation of scientific research network platform both at home and abroad and sums up the experience gained from past work. It puts forward the idea that a network database and platform for sharing information is needed in life science research in northwestern China and designs the how the platform should be built. It focuses on network-platform-based life science research in the northwest, illustrating its main characteristics, scientific research methods, research objects, means of scientific research communication, the publication of research results and scientific research administration. It further explains the technology needed to run such a network platform. Through analyzing the theory and application of virtual management, this thesis discusses the mode of virtual administration in life science research in the northwest which is based on network platform and information technology.Lastly, in line with the nation's mid-term and long-term science and technology development plan, this thesis looks into the future of life science research which is based on network platform and information technology.
