The Study Of Intellectual Capital Improvement Of Our Small And Mid-sized Technology Enterprises

With the coming age of knowledge economy, the agricultural and industrial economy ages end. So the traditional capital such as land,money,equipments and raw materials are no more the main profits resourses.Although all those traditional capital have still played some roles ,but the most important profits resource is already intellectual capital which is honored the main profits resource and the motivation of creativity for the modern enterprises. Since 1969, when Galbraith proposed the concept of intellectual capital, it has been developed so well in foreign countries. We have already introduced many sophisticated managing theories from abroad since our market economy begins, but we have still lagged behind in many ways. Facing the economic globalization, our enterprises, especially for those small and mid-sized technology ones, will face more and more fierce competitive environment. So the improvement of intellectual capital is the key for the survival and development of them.The thesis analyzed the present condition of Intellectual Capital of our small and mid-sized technology enterprises, and then extract those 28 factors which affect Intellectual Capital improvement, combining the influencing factors of Taiwan electronic information industry. Then to find the eight main factors through the factor analysis method. Finally, depending on the conclusion from the importance sequence of these main factors, we will find the most effective methods to improve Intellectual Capital. All will help improving those enterprises growth.
