Research On The Development Of Anhui Processing Trade

The third international industrial transfer began in the late 1970s, rely on the land, labor, and other elements of cost advantage, the eastern regions undertake the labor-intensive industries of developed countries. Their economy have been rapid developed through the processing trade. As the largest trade form in China, the processing trade played an important role in expanding opening up, foreign investment, promote the upgrading of industrial structure during the last 30 years, however, with the economic development and the need for industrial upgrading, the eastern regions gradually lost their original comparative advantages. Facing the wave of a new round international industrial transfer, the eastern regions urgently want to transfer their labor-intensive industries to the central China. In contrast, abundant labor, natural resources and other advantages of Anhui Province are not fully used by the processing trade, its processing trade has been in a backward state since 1995. In this context, how to seize this historic opportunity, take corresponding measures in a timely manner, through the active development of industries to relocate to the Anhui's processing trade and to accelerate industrial restructuring and upgrading is of great significance of Anhui.
