Research On Xinjiang Province Carrying On Industrial Transference Of Processing Trade

Since reform and opening up, the processing trade, as an important form to participate ininternational division of labor, developed rapidly. It played a major role in expanding exports,importing foreign technology, increasing employment and stimulating domestic economicgrowth. Hut the processing trade in China has the huge difference in regional distribution.More than90percent is concentrated in the eastern area. However, in recent years, with theinternational economic environment unceasing change and the international division of laborthorough development, development of the processing trade is severely limited in the easternpart, and the shift of the processing trade from the eastern to the central and western regionshas become increasingly evident. So the central and western regions have welcomed theprocessing trade development new opportunity. Xinjiang, as China’s western provinces,should hold this opportunity to actively undertake the industrial transfer of the eastern region,and vigorously develop the processing trade.This essay applies the relative theory on processing trade and industrial transferencecomprehensively, adopts the methods of theory plus excess syndrome, qualitative analysisplus quantitative analysis to analyze the present conditions, necessity, feasibility and influencefactors of undertaking industrial transfer of the processing trade in Xinjiang. At last, the essayproposed the corresponding policy recommendations. The innovation of this paper is that, byestablishing the model, analyze the factors influencing the development of processing trade inXinjiang and the impact of various factors in the development of Xinjiang’s processing tradein the process of influence. And then determine the most important factors, in order to releasethe related policy, and actively promote to undertake work effectively.
