It is 17 years since China got in contact with the internet in 1994, in the more than ten years, internet corporations rose and declined at a high-speed, behind a small number of successful corporations, there are many failed ones. Just under this background, Chinese internet corporations have grown and developed. Nowadays Chinese internet corporations have turned into the stars in the new economic era by their business models, they are accepted internationally and they also attracted a lot of investment from overseas countries. Each corporation has high market share in the respective field, under the superficial differences the same business model is hidden below. In this thesis, the business model of internet corporations will be discussed based on the theory of two-sided market.Internet corporations have the characteristics which two-sided market companies possess, but it is inadequate to explain them by existing two-sided market theory. This thesis begins with micro economic features of internet corporations, the cost structure, monopsony and competition structure and economies of scale, economies of scope were analyzed, and then a new concept of internet corporation was obtained. In this thesis, an internet corporation is an enterprise which uses information and internet technologies, and has an innovative mode of production. The focal point is not the technologies they use but the mode of the operation, and the mode is just the platform adding value-added services business model. The thesis is carried out by the"Theory-model-case"train. After the establishment of the platform adding value-added services model, it follows an internet corporation case analysis.There are there main contributions as follows.1. This thesis begins with the micro economic features of internet corporations; after analyzing the differences between internet corporations and traditional enterprises, a new concept of internet corporation was obtained. Internet corporations have characteristics such as high fixed cost and low variable cost, monopolistic platform and competitive value-added services, platform's economies of scale, value-added services'economies of scope.2. In internet corporations, platform adding value-added services model commonly exists, and that is actually the business model of internet corporations. 3. In this thesis, new price models which are in accordance with the characteristic of internet corporations are established.
