The service industry is developing rapidly and the global economy is undergoing a gradually transformation from traditional economy to service economy with the rise of product service and service outsourcing. The research on supply chain management is beginning to turn from product supply chain to service supply chain(SSC). While logistics service supply chain (LSSC) is the important trend of modern logistics service industry development, the important branch of SSC and also one of the important subjects of logistics academic research.LSSC is a service supply chain based essentially on the capacity cooperation formed by the development of logistics service industry. It is a new supply chain of which logistics service integrator (LSI) is the core enterprise to provide the comprehensive and flexible logistics service for the customer and the logistics operation of product supply chain by integrating logistics service resources. The basic structure of LSSC is: functional logistics service providers(FLSP)â†'LSIâ†'customer. Under new economic circumstances, the market is increasing competitive and the construction, operation and management of LSSC is popularly concerned. But how to evaluate and select FLSP and allocate orders by LSI becomes an key problem to be primarily solved while facing more and more individualized and diversified logistics demand.Based on former research, this paper firstly discusses in depth of the generation process, structure, content and features, and analyzes of its construction principle and risk in detail. Then combined with the actual operation of logistics services and considering the logistics capability status, logistics efficiency and cost and other practical factors, establish the FLSP selection and order allocation portfolios optimization modelâ… for LSI in constructing LSSC based on the two-echelon structure. And then extend the modelâ… , construct the structure of procurement services cost of LSI with FLSP'service level as the parameter and establish the FLSP selection and order allocation portfolios optimization modelâ…¡. By numerical example authenticate the two models. Meanwhile, through taking into account of the system risk of the supply chain and according to the vitality of LSSC, the paper designs the logistics supplier portfolios performance and risk matrix which offers some references for LSI to prevent risk and make a reasonable choice. Finally, the paper concludes the main reasearch content and the future research prospect is given.
