Lean production and logistic is accepted by more and more world class plants, which impacts and actually causes a lot innovation in many fields. It is very helpful to logistic staff to improve planning quality if combine lean logistic with logistic planning to acquire more optimized solution.This paper takes Systematic Layout Planning and Material Handling Analysis as reference, combines lean logistic and logistic planning and forwards the method of lean logistic planning. The lean logistic planning contains following key steps: clarify performance evaluation index and plant vision before planning to ensure proposal meet with long term planning and current expectation; using tools including value stream mapping to analyze the current status; using value stream design to define the key concept with supplier and customer; define logistic storage and transportation proposal; layout planning base on flow oriented layout; developing different proposal on key issues and evaluation; choose the preferred proposal to develop detailed plan.Bosch plant D applied lean logistic planning and acquired good achievement on material flow optimization, workload reduction and space reduction. Lean logistic planning concept, methodology and procedure is also reference for logistic planning in other logistic system.
