Analysis Of The Impact Of Circular Economy Implementation On Financial Performance In Steel Enterprises

Along with the dramatic increasing of economy in China, the needs of all kinds of resources are increasing correspondingly. But the traditional development mode is"high input, high consumption, heavy pollution, low efficiency"and made it is hard to realize sustainable development.Circular economy is a kind of sustainable development mode. And enterprises are very important for developing circular economy in whole society. Because the steel industry is of"high consumption, high pollution, high emissions", its circular economy development's quality plays an important leading and exemplary role in the entire social circular economy's development, then this thesis takes the steel enterprises as object of study.This thesis reviewed the theories of circular economy and performance evaluation firstly. Then it provided an overview of literatures on the relevance between the circular economy performance and the financial performance. On these bases, the thesis analyzed the impact of circular economy implementation on the enterprise development pattern, and pointed out the forms of circular economy in steel enterprises. It also gave a qualitative analysis on the impact on financial performance after circular economy implementation. Finally, it took Taiyuan Steel Company as the study object, using the methods of comparative analysis and correlative analysis, analyzed the relationship of circular economy implementation and financial performance in Taiyuan Steel Company according to the circular economy theory. We found Taiyuan Steel Company's financial performance didn't come down with the implementation of circular economic development strategy; Taiyuan Steel Company's financial performance was higher than the average level as a whole; the implementation of circular economic development strategy has certain degree forward influence on its profitability, property quality, operational capacity increasing.
