The Research On The Resources Utilization Efficiency Of Baotou Iron-Steel Group Based On The Circular Economy

It takes profound changes in the global iron-steel industry structure when China join the WTO. As an emerging economic, there are also significant development in Chinese domestic iron-steel industry. Along with the progress, it also appears the following issues, such as the changes of supply and demand in the iron-steel market, excess capacity, the shortage of natural resources and destruction of the ecological environment. In this paper, we discuss how it achieves the coordinated development of iron-steel enterprise, ecological and economic environment, and reduces energy consumption and environmental pollution. Based on this review, we propose that the policies are most likely to lead to greater enterprise efficiency and greater healthy progress of iron-steel enterprises.This paper deeply studies the connotation of circular economy theory and its principles, Which offers theoretical foundation and support to Baotou Iron-steel Company developed circular economy. It discusses the connotation of circular economy and its principle, and the theory of circular economy in the iron and steel enterprises and its application in recent years. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Taking Baogang Group as an example, we analyses the decades of progress track and technical foundation, and focus on the grim situation of Baogang Group in the aspect of market environment, Industrial policy, Technical characteristics and resource. At last, we contrast the Baogang Group with the foreign advanced enterprises, and find the necessary objective and the advantages of developing circular economy.(2) Application of data envelopment analysis (DEA) model, We can evaluate the condition of Baogang Group in resource utilization, and the DEA has invested in the invalid decision projection analysis of redundancy and lack of output indicators.(3) Based on the basic analysis of Baogang Group in recent years and the efficiency of resources utilization evaluation, pointed out that the steel develops circular economy should focus on the innovation of technology and management, process optimization and the cleaner production and so on, and promote the energy-saving emission reduction. In addition, Baogang Group also should take the advantages of rare earth resources, and develop special iron-steel products, improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
