In recent years, mobile communications technology develops rapidly. The business competition has becoming stiff after 3G license issued to mobile operators. As Network quality is an important standard to measure the competitiveness of operators, every operator should pay more attention to their own quality of network service. A variety of network quality management ways are used by operators to improve their network quality, it could help them to improve their competitiveness and the customer perception of network quality.In this paper, the research is based on Ericsson's 3G softswitch network in Shanghai Mobile. The VoIP service is one of the most basic business services in softswitch network. The characteristics of 3G softswitch network are introduced in this paper. The relation between the quality of VoIP network based on Ericsson's 3G softswitch network and the customer perception is analyzed through the research on the theory of project quality management and customer perception.Finally, in this paper, the project about the quality management of VoIP based on Ericsson's 3G softswitch network in Shanghai mobile is used as the case in point. The method about quality management of VoIP based on Ericsson's 3G softswitch network is evaluated through an experiment. The method makes the customer perception as a guide. The method provides operators the references and guidelines for the quality management of the management of the next-generation network.?...
