With the rapid growth of automotive and mechanical engineering industries by long-term, China's tire industry has been obtaining high-speed development in recent years. As the great attraction of the Chinese market, the world top 75 tire manufacturers in the top ten tire companies have vied for the Chinese, China set up factories or joint ventures. At present, large tires have 50% of enterprises controlled by foreign investors. Large-scale occupation with foreign tire brand in sharp contrast to the Chinese market is there 40% of domestic tire production companies can rely on exports, by 2009, the U.S. tire "safeguard" and the European Union technical standards to improve the impact of tire imports, the export situation is not optimistic. Overall, the current development of China's tire businesses face many opportunities and challenges, should seriously study how to maximize the use of the current favorable conditions for development and growth, while as much as possible to avoid risks, from a strategic perspective to enhance the competitiveness of the company.This paper, based on the status of the tire industry, the relevant theories discussed competitive strategy, and the tire industry to analyze the competitive environment in order to effectively develop their competitive strategies. AB Company as typical of the tire business, combining the development status of AB Company, the use of PEST, SWOT, Porter five forces model, three basic competitive strategies, enterprise core competitiveness of AB Company shares Limited competition, the competition for the AB Company Ltd to provide a theoretical basis for strategy formulation. AB Company through the implementation of the strategy market competition, the status of investigation and analysis, focusing on the competitive strategies of AB Company problems during implementation and propose solutions to problems and countermeasures. In this study, AB Company in favor of effective competitive strategy formulation and implementation, in favor of the company's products have won an absolute scale development and market advantage, but also for other tire companies to provide reference for competitive strategy.
