With the development of transportation, the automobile and urbanization in our country,China’s tire industry is developing rapidly, show ing a boom both production and sales, growing export sales and good optimization of tire structure. But due to the financial crisis, inflation and other effects leading to increased costs and decreasing profits, at present, our tire enterprises are still faced with unfavorable factors, such as:rising prices of raw materials, international corporation occupying high-end market and technical barriers. China’s tire enterprises must seize the opportunity to promote the industry consolidation, accelerate the modernization of enterprise management process and increase the technical inputs to seek development in the fierce market competition.H Tire Co. Ltd. is a microcosm of more than 300 tire enterprises in our country. After twenty years of development, the company scale, production and profit indexes have reached the upper level in China. H tire Co. Ltd was founded in 1992,30 square kilometers, more than 800 employees. Cart tires, motorcycle tires, car tires, OTR tire, agricultural tires and bicycle tires are mainly its products.This essay analyzes current situation and internal & external environments through rich materials, tire books & magazines and strategic management theories & analysis tools. Based on the analysis of SWOT model and discussion of different levels of development strategies, the overall strategic target "the international well-known enterprises and a world-class brand" are established. To achieve this target, specialization strategy and competitive strategy are adopted. Due to the implementation of the strategy is a dynamic process, full cooperation of various functional departments is important. To ensure overall objectives and business strategies can be realized smoothly, H tire Co. Ltd should take the following treasures:the implementation of total quality management, improvement of the product research and development ability, to strengthen the marketing ability. strengthen the building of enterprise culture and the construction of human resources.This research has a certain guiding significance for the formulation of the development strategy of H tire Co. Ltd. but also the development of other enterprises in the same industry.
