With the experience economy era coming, experience-based tourism has become an inevitable trend of development of tourism industry, numerous cities have experience-based tourism as a new economic growth point. Currently the lack of innovated experience-based tourism product model and rational planning of tourist areas, has restricted the development of experience-based tourism industry as a major bafflement. This text based on national experience-based tourism and martial cultural's development in the status quo, from the perspective of tourism area planning to study the combination of martial culture and experience-based tourism.Hoping that on the one hand be able to find new breakthrough points in experience-based tourism area planning, on the other hand can find a new way to inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese martial arts culture.The major content of this paper including :Theoretical research component - describes the experience-based tourism and the martial arts culture, concepts and basic theory and relevant research strategies at home and abroad. Summarized the definition of experience-based tourism, the definition of martial arts and cultural resources, experience standard theory, target behavior theory, experience rating theory, and study the strategy of domestic and abroad experience-based tourism development .Background research component– An overview of experience-based tourism development and Chinese martial cultural development. Expounded on the meaning of experience-based tourism, characteristics, in the country's development situation and problems as well as martial arts culture in the domestic production, evolution and influence. At last study the relevance of the martial arts cultural and experience-based tourism.Comprehensive research component - mainly from the tourist area planning point of view to research the development strategy of experiential tourism production which take martial arts culture as its theme. Including the development of factor analysis, development principles, features created, develop model selection and development process and so on. This component introduces the development model - RPG (role playing) which led the planning, make a detailed analysis of space planning of tourist areas and product design.Thematic research component– research the specific model (RPG mode) of experiential tourism production development which take martial arts culture as its theme. Explore the meaning of RPG mode, the difference between RPG mode and traditional mode of experience-based tourism product development, the influence of RPG mode, the integration point of RPG mode and experience-based tourism area planning,and the use of RPG mode in experience-based tourism planning.Empirical research component–Based on the analysis of former papers ,take Jin Yong's martial arts and cultural city of Haining as example to support and supplement. By analysis of the basic situation in Haining Jin Yong's martial arts and cultural city , made travel planning, such as scenic themes, planning orientation, planning concepts, etc., and then explore and study the application of RPG mode in Jin Yong's martial arts culture city.Through the analysis of the previous contents, at last the paper presents conclusions, that is, it is feasible to take martial arts culture as the theme of experience-based tourism, and through the proven it proved that the development model (RPG mode) of experience-based tourism which takes martial arts culture as the theme is innovative and has a good operability.
