In the 21st century, it is no longer a competition between the enterprises but between the supply chain. As the complexity and uncertainty of supply chain system , by application process simulation technology to describe the dynamic operation and supply chain evolution, studying a variety of supply chain operations strategy,competitive strategy and coordination of strategies have become an important research method of supply chain operations. So, simulation modeling of supply chain has a growing demand, but there are still many problems for Supply chain simulation modeling methods to solve practical engineering applications. This study is in this context made.The main content of this study focused on the following aspects:①The method of supply chain simulation modeling. The concept and content of supply chain and supply chain management together with the situation of supply chain simulation research is set out in this part. By analyzing extensive literature, it is stressed that the method of supply chain simulation is available to dynamically depict the dynamic operation and evolution process of supply chain. Theoretical study about the multi-stage supply chain network simulation modeling. Based on the study of the demand forecasting, inventory management strategy, bullwhip effect caused by ordering lead time and bulk order, supplier selection, lateral transshipment order and so on, this paper put forward some available measures in multi-stage supply chain network modeling, including the method of demand forecasting, inventory management strategy and supplier selection. This research model the supply chain based on the five-stage supply chain network, then analyze and compare the order at node,stock turnover, order quantity and the intensity of the bullwhip effect under the EOQ strategy and Max-Min strategy.②Modeling and simulating research of the multi-stage supply chain network. According to the theory research, this paper has identified a conceptual model and simulation model of the multi-stage supply chain network, and a logical process of the supply chain operation. In that basis, it gives analysis to a lateral transfer model of the supply chain.③Modeling simulation implement and case analysis of the Multi-stage supply chain network. This part is based on the simulation research of Multi-stage supply chain network using the Flexsim, which is an object-oriented simulation software. This paper gives analysis to the five complex supply chain network's ordering strategy, inventory strategy, vendor selection strategy and the adjustable goods model using Flexsim. Through a specific example analysis, it compares the economic order quantity (EOQ) strategy with the maximum minimum (S, s) strategy in aspects of the stock, quantity node inventory turns, vendor selection and "the bullwhip effect" strength at all nodes of the supply chain.It also has researched all the nodes enterprises' inventory level under conditions of the maximum minimum (S, s) strategy and retailers and distributors for the adjustable goods model.
