With china entry into WTO and liberating wholly retailing industry to foreign investment company, the world retailing giants such as Carrefour, Wal-Mart, Lotus Supercenter and so on which link closely with people's life have began to occupy the commercial golden location in the city. Facing with increasingly furious global competition and complicated social&economic environment, domestic retailing enterprises have already been aware of the importance of selecting good location. The better location he has, the more opportunity he will seize.In view to this reason, the author makes a comprehensive and systemic research on retailing investment decision-making progress. The research could be summarized into two aspects. One is the conception and theory of seclecting retailing location, the other is the location decision-making process composed of establishing indicator systerm and selecting comprehensive evaluation method. The concept and theory is the basis of indicator systerm and comprehensive evaluation. While the indicator systerm and evaluation is the prerequisite of decision-making process. So the two aspects are linked tightly.
