Research On Project Management For Water Power Engineering Enterprise

In the economic integration and global competition environment, the reform and exploration, we have tried to begin the in-depth exploration and reform in the management mechanism, and some advanced management theories and technologies have been introduced in the construction project management. Through several-year exploration and reform, there has very successful development and improvement in the theories and technologies about the construction project management. During such a process with success and failure, there also has generated some deep-seated problems, which need to be paid more attention to.The paper analyzes some problems related to the project management in the water power engineering companies, e.g. unconformable management mechanism, incompatible systems, unconformable personnel system, and no internal simulated market. The above-mentioned problems significantly affect the performance of the management project. Whether these problems can be solved successfully makes a difference in the realization of management objective, i.e. the quality, schedule, and cost.This paper proposes the complete and entire- process project management method. It focuses on the construction of project organization, and the control and management method of schedule, quality, and cost. Then the management mechanism, incentive mechanism, personnel training and education, contract management, and risk management are discussed in detail. Its successful application in the water power engineering company can facilitate the project management.The proposed management method have many practical profits, such as meeting with the modern project management need of the Water power companies in our country, promoting the system reform, improving project management level, and adapting to the international competition etc. We expect that the proposed method can give some decision support for the managers of the construction project.
