The Research Of Risk Management Of Software Project

This thesis discussed the risk management of software project. It is often ignored during the practice, so many project managers used to rejecting or escaping from problem to manage project risk. Large software projects need the careful plan, the method of identifying and monitoring the risk factors, the method of progress controlling, the risk management tactic and emergency plan, otherwise, if unexpected factors appearing, it will frequently lead to the offset of the project time limit and the ripples effect, the postponing and exceeding of budget, even the total project loosed. Generally, successful projects have a good risk management, so software projects should take risk management for one of the important content in software project management. This article introduced project risk management about the conception, the process, the method, and researching risk management of software projects. Software projects have follow features: urgency, uniqueness, uncertainty, and so on, it has a lot of variables factors must be controlled in risk management. In this thesis, it drew the result that the most difference between software project management and other project management is human resource. It is particularly important that project managers consider the factors of human resource in schema controlling and risk controlling. It also analyzed and discussed the solution of the common risk question in software project about the human factors.
