Research Of Logistic Center Location

From 1950's, logistics has developed rapidly and gradually become the third benefit fountain as the development of the economic globalization. In order to promote the rationalization of logistics, we should focus on the research of the location theory of logistic center, the process, and the method.This paper put most research on the location problems of distribution logistic center and hinge logistic center in accordance with characteristics and functions of different sorts of logistic center, on the base of the scientific classification of logistic center.The location problem of single distribution center is usually solved by the gravity method, while that of multiple distribution centers is figured out by a mixed integer programming model on the groundwork of the analysis of transportation cost and operation cost of distribution centers which can be solved by genetic algorithm.To hinge logistic center, based on the fuzzy decision theory, a new fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making (FMCDM) method is proposed, and it is applied to the evaluation and selection of logistic centers. With Hsu's similarity aggregation method and group decision-making theory, the expert's opinions are aggregated in the agreement degree and the relative importance between experts. Then the overall evaluation fuzzy values can be got. Finally the positive trapezoidal fuzzy number are ranked with Lee and Li's method , the optimal alternative can be selected. A numerical example shows the process of the approach.At the end of this paper, some aspects which can be improved by further study are advanced.
