With the growth of world population and the development of science and technology, fishery resources have been increasingly scarcer from once so-called"an inexhaustible resource". In this situation, the main fishery countries have attached importance to the development of their aquaculture industries, therefore they develop so rapidly that their advancement is the fastest one of all departments of food production. Especially for the aquaculture industry in China, over the past decades, it has been the activest one of all animal food production departments in the world. However, with its rapid development, some negative aspects such as out-of-order competitiveness, the rapidly extending scale on farming and processing, and so on come in the course of fishery development. On account of this, the analysis carried out by the dissertation, which elaborates the development of the fishery industry in China, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that are being confronted with, becomes so important that the fishery producer, the manager, the fishery entrepreneur pay attention to it all the time and at the same time it is already set store by all the society.In allusion to China's aquatic product increasingly facing technical barrier to trade and the status quo of fishery industry, the paper will regard China's fishery industry as the research object.
