With the growth of the electron information manufacturing industry in the global world, China is getting to become a production base of information products. Integrate Circuit, the key product in this area, is playing more and more significant role in its greater competitive power in the global world. Since 2000, the Integrate Circuit Industry ( referred to as ICI in the following) in China has been developing so rapidly that its growth rate has been over 40% and has become concentrated area with a dense industrial cluster in Yangtz River Delta, Beijing, Tianjin and the area around Bo Sea ,and Pearl River Delta. Although the Electron Information Industry of Fujian province is competitive to some extent in China, to develop its integrate circuit to the maximum is the key factor to making it more competitive in this area. Fujian Government and the departments concerned have gained awareness of the importance and necessity of the ICI development. Based on the analysis of the conditions and environment on which Fujian Integrate Circuit is being developed, this thesis, composed of four chapters, puts forward some approaches as to acceleration of ICI development in Fujian Province.Chapter One----A brief introduction of the history of global IC development, with focus on its development in Taiwan area.Chapter Two---- Review of the history of IC development in Chinese mainland and Fujian Province and analysis of their present situations on the basis of all links in the industry chain.Chapter Three----Expatiation of the conditions on which the ICI in Fujian Province is developed and pointing out the opportunities and superiority for ICI development in Fujian Province as well as the difficulties and problems it may face.
