Project Quality Management Application In Intergrated Circuit Assembly

After entering the 21st century especial for World Economic Crisis in 2008, the competition of Integrated Circuit Assembly industry became increasingly fiercer following its fast development. In order to get more projects from customer, the Project Manager keep working on not only the project cycle and cost, but also the project quality in order to increase the degree of satisfaction from customers.Based on the background of a global IC assembly company—Company A, this thesis introduced the situation of project quality management and analyzed exiting problems, such as project quality program is indefinably; project quality assurance system is incompletely; project quality control is insufficiently. In order to solve these problems, this thesis provided a lot of improvement actions, such as define the quality policy,scope description,product description,standard and rule, improve the quality management program by applied the flow chart and quality function deployment; establish project quality assurance system by applied quality audit sheet and continues improvement plan; increase the NT project quality control level by applied the documentation and method of project quality control.Practice show that the importance of solve the problems in the project quality management in IC assembly industry. Meanwhile, the analysis of how to use the technology of project quality management were performed, and the effectiveness were confirmed also. Finally, some problems were solved during project quality management.
