Study On The Problem Of Farmers' Income In The Central Region Of Hainan

The problems concerning agriculture, farmers and rural areas are related to the overall modernization and reform and opening-up policy of China. The most primary and key solution to the above problems , so-called'Sannong'problem, is to increase farmers'income continuously, enhance the farmers'living standards continuously.The central region of Hainan Island is not only one of the major primary tropical rain forest regions but also the origin of the main river of Hainan. Its rich nature resource establishes the firm material basement for Hainan's economy development. Its extrusive role is to represent the core of Hainan ecological enviroment. Therefore, it enjoys the reputation as the heart of Hainan. However, conflicting to the abundant nature resources, the economic development is relatively backward in the central region of Hainan, which is the bottleneck constraining the economic development of whole province. One of the major contradictions in central region is the slow increase of farmers'income and farmers'low income. Hainan can neither realize the historical task which constructing the well-off society comprehensively nor the sustained development of ecological environment with farmer poverty. The thesis analyzes the changeable tendency and the influencing factors of farmers'income on the basis of regional economics, resource and environmental economics and agricultural economics and also gives the corresponding strategy according to the current situation.The thesis consists of six parts:The first part is the introduction which including the research meaning, research goal, research content, research methods and technical route. The second part mainly reviews the relative literature and theory that relate to the farmers'income.The third part is the fundamental appraisement of the central areas, and analyzes the tendency of farmers'income and the present situation since Hainan becomes a province .The forth part analyzes the main factors which influencing the farmers'income in the central region through research, investigation and empirical analysis, including careful analysis and research of the rural industrial structure, farmers'educational level, urbanization process, rural industrialization degree, agriculture input and its ecological...
