The Study On The Increase Of Farmers' Income Of Changjiang LI Nationality Autonomous County, Hainan Province

The significances of this thesis are as follow: plan in entirety of city-countryside development, and balanced development among areas are important parts of scientific development ideas. Some regions especially middle areas inhabited by ethnic groups are under-development, compared to cities in Hainan province, which are dualistic economic structure and low-level of economic development. To plan in entirety of city-countryside development and balanced development of Hainan, so as to make its economy into virtuous circle.With the combination of theory and practice, this essay aim at promoting the area's development of minorities, achieving the harmony, unity and integration of minorities, through studying the farmer's income of LI nationality, analyzing its social development of countryside, and finding out similarity of development among the region inhibited by ethic groups.The key of building harmonious society is people's harmony. The social backward of the region inhibited by ethic groups partly cause the disharmony, especially the problems of education and surplus-labor. The important ways to build harmonious society are to boost the economy of the area, increase farmer's income and guarantee their employment and life.At present time, our country is at a period of transformation, which needs a optimization of economic structure and a breakthrough of rural area economic development. That is worthy to be studied.This essay analyze the farmer's income of ChangJiang Li nationality autonomous county, Hainan province, which are based on the data of 2003-2005years and several deeply investigations of countryside, then make an analysis of difficulties, conclusion and countermeasures.Firstly, the author analyzes the farmer's income through three aspects: gross, structure and speed of growth. Compare to other areas and average level of nationwide, the farmer's income of ChangJiang is much lower, the structure of income is unreasonable, and the speed of growth is slow.Secondly, there are difficulties existed on the increasing of farmer's income: people who live in rural area can not start their business because of lack of capital, morbidity of land system, violation of interest to farmer, application of new agricultural technology is not ideal, arrangement of institution is unreasonable, single channels source of income, government doesn't play a notable role, agricultural risk is high, underdevelopment of human resource, surplus-labor are not well transferred.Finally, author poses the countermeasure of increasing farmer's income. First step is to raise the quality of labor, from the fundamental education to introduce talents, so as to bring new vitality to economic construction and development of countryside; and to train the peasant on agricultural technology, put the application of agricultural technology bring into fullplay. The second step is to build the chain of production, sale of agricultural products, to guarantee farmer's income. With the advantage of climate, ChangJiang should vigorously develop the green agriculture, lead up and scale up production to meet the requirement of inland, increase farmer's income also, and bring about agriculture modernization. Meanwhile, institution of agricultural insurance should be established. The third step is to establish the institution of land-transfer, so as to protect the farmer's rights and benefits. The final step is that government must enlarge the agricultural introjections, highly value the problem of increasing farmer's income, and build the houses at the suburbs, which are only for peasant who enter city to work, and contribute to contact joint between city and countryside.
