To be surveyed, Chinese private-owned enterprises are commonly shortly-lived. Medium and small enterprises can only exist for three to five years, even for large-sized ventures, that can exist within 5 years, less than 10 years. A research paper reported that various enterprises have risen up above 50%. What's the reason of the disappearing of the private-owned enterprises, like the meteor?More than 90% of the private-owned enterprises in our country are family business, and most of them are of family-style management. So it is well worth for making research on the problem that how to guide private-owned enterprises operation in the new century, the new economic circumstances and new difficulties after entering the WTO; how to make sustainable development for the starters to run their own family business.The paper gives a preliminary approach to the sustainable development about Chinese private-owned enterprises form the angle of enterprise's systemic changes and makes some suggestions to solve the problem. The whole passage consists of five parts as following:The first part: Introduction. It presents the fact of shortly-lived Chinese private-owned enterprises, analyzes the conception of the sustainable development of the enterprise, and also points out that the systemic defect in the private-owned enterprises is the core inhibiting factor in its sustainable development.The second part, the paper proposes the features of our private-owned enterprises system and its effect on sustainable development. It makes an in-depth analysis on the systemic defect at the current situation and researches the effect on the private-owned enterprises sustainable development.The third part, the paper states the supply-demand situation in the systemic changes and its rational thinking on family business system. It analyses the supply-demand situation, and makes a rational discussion on the reason and restrictions existed in the family-styled management.
