Product Life-cycle Management Based On Reusable Technology

With the forming of the global market and the rapid development of information, communication, biology and material technology, great changes have taken place in external situations of manufacturing industry. Quickly delivering and rapidly responding to market has been the key in market competition. In order to meet intending challenge, many scholars have put forward various product developing strategies, managing models and advanced manufacturing technologies. They all take agilely manufacturing the market-needed product as the kernel of manufacturing, and the aim is to improve product quality, shorten product development period, reduce the cost of goods and protect ecological environment. They regard that it is important to make resource (include knowledge, products model) rational distribution and cyclic utilization. So it's desiderative to develop the reusable information system facing PLM, which carry on the uniform definition and description of product model through reusing techniques, to establish the integrity and highly consistent integration product information, ultimately achieve the reusing and sharing of the information in all grades.According to the above demand, this thesis has thoroughly studied the key techniques of establishing the reusable system, which is based on the research of the meaning of PLM, the flow system, the functional structure, and the theory, the method , the implementing of reusing. It was supported by the research of " The reusable design theory and the method research based on the integrated product model"——the National Natural Science Foundation (50375161). The main contents are the following:①According to current researching of manufacturing industry development, it indicates the significance to research the application of reusable technology to product life-cycle management process and accordingly sum up the need of establish the reusable information system facing PLM and the purpose of creating this system.②It has systematically studied the content, the operation flow system, the management system and the main functional module of PLM.
