Study On System Change And System Innovation Of The Trade Administration System Of Chonqing

Institution is the regulation that restrains people's behaviours which involve in social, political and economic aspects. The transition of institution is the process in which the institution of higher efficiency replaces the lower one. The relationship between institution and foreign trade is rather interactive than stable, i.e. the establishment and replacement of trade institution promotes the development of foreign trade, whilst the development of foreign trade impels the demands for the replacement of trade institution.Since the open-up, in virtue of the nation's policy of open-up and economic institution reform, ChongQing has put great attention in the development of foreign trade,with the result of its foreign trade volume increasing distinctively, which in turn has stimulated its overall economic development. To an under-developed province as ChongQing, it is a rational choice to stimulate economic development through participating in the global division of labor and economic cooperation. People used to focus on natural endowment, technique and preference when studying the development of foreign trade in ChongQing, completely ignoring the effect of trade institution, while researches show that institution transition is one of the most important elements for the development of foreign trade. The dissertation follows the institution transition path of the foreign trade administration of the ChongQing and examines the relationship between institution transition and foreign trade development. The theory of the new Institution economics and the institution transition is applied to the examination of different courses of institution transition of the foreign trade administration of the Zhejiang Province and ChongQing and to the analysis of the mechanism of institution transition of foreign trade administration of the ChongQing with the purposes of identifying the existing problems as well as putting forward recommendation for the next stage of reform of on ChongQing foreign trade administration.
