Study On Comparative Advantage Of Important Agricultural Products Of Chongqing

This dissertation focuses on comparative advantage of important agricultural products of Chongqing.How to raise comparative advantage of the important agricultural products of Chongqing is related to the economic performance of agriculture, farmer income, village ecosystem environment and agriculture sustainable development. The important agricultural products that this thesis wants to study have huge influence in these series of problems.According to the plantation scale, proportion in agricultural production and resources condition of the native area of Chongqing, the important agricultural products are orange, rapeseed and pig.Main conclusions1. The orange of Chongqing expresses high comparative advantage. This kind of high comparative advantage is related with following factors: ①the abundant natural resources ;② good development foundation and special species ; ③ strong R&D power on orange;④ good niche advantage. Also there exists a series of restriction: ① For the low establishment standards of orange orchard ,the ability to resist natural disasters especially drought is weak;②the structure of orange species is not reasonable; ③the commercializing processing lagged, the storage condition is bad.2. The rapeseed of Chongqing also expresses high comparative advantage. This is the synthetic effect of market demand, resources gift, plantation system, social economy and the niche condition etc. Further improvement of comparative advantage of rapeseed in Chongqing relies on improvement of quality and the level of process.3. The live pig is the major exported product of Chongqing. But compared to peripheral regions, it does not have comparative advantage4. The correspondingly scarcity and low quantity of land is the restrictive factor to improve the comparative advantage of important agricultural products.5. Making full use of the abundant labor force is the key to improve comparative advantage of important agricultural product in Chongqing.Main standpoints1.
